Today.

I woke up today
big fat smile on my face
not a care in the world
as i faced it outside,
The wind blew gaily
amidst the spray of rain
Walking side by side
The world, just, a little lighter ..

A hop, skip and a jump
My feet, feel a little lighter
A little closer to the sky above
I believe, I fly ..

The dawn may set
On yet another day,
But, this day was mine ..
To have, to live,
To feel, to imagine,
To be ..

There comes a time
A day amidst all
Which justifies the rote existence
Of why we live the way we do
And that is the day that justifies you;
Your being; Your creation,
And then you know, that what you dreamed of ..
Is true.
